This blog is about another major player in the Hotel industry; before we produced these custom printed and personalised MP3 players for them, we’ve
definitely noticed their hotel brand from afar and most sport fans would’ve noticed their brand as major sponsors of international sports events. The hotel
we’re talking about is none other than the travel and tourism award winning Jumeirah hotel – a Dubai based chain of international luxury hotels and resorts.
Hotels using sponsorship marketing – of sports, arts, tourism, causes and entertainment - is a significant strategy that is highly trodden by hotel chains.
They use the strategy of sponsorship to drive bookings and engage their loyalty scheme. Best western hotels sponsors Andersson Speedway, Hilton HHonors sponsors the Mclaren formula 1 team, IHG sponsors a PGA tour event, The Marriott hotels
sponsors the NFL & the Barclays centre, Jumeriah (the focus Hotel for this blog) sponsors Rory Mcilroy and on and on it goes. A more

As highlighted above, Jumeriah sponsors Rory Mcilroy and several golf and sports events. Another tourism location Jumeriah hotels and resorts sponsor is Central Park NY. The Jumeriah hotel in New York is well placed next to the
Central Park tours. With 840 acres of public land, Central Part is the prime tourist location in New York and it’s a no brainer in being a target for
sponsorship. There are different tours available to tourists that visit the vast lands of Central Park NY; there is the Architectural Tour, the family
Tour, the Arts Tour and son on.
In trying to extract the most out of this special and unique sponsorship, we developed and manufactured a promotional MP3 player branded with the logos of Jumeriah Hotels and Central Park; we preloaded it with unique pre-recorded information for each of the different tours (Arts, Architectural and family
tours). This is a unique way of wringing the best out of a sponsorship outlay. The tourists can go on their self-guided tours with a Jumeriah Hotel branded
MP3 player as a distinct problem solver – they also get to take these home with them. We think this is a truly exceptional marketing device that
exponentially keeps screaming at the recipient long after their holidays are over about the services of the Jumeriah hotels. The images of the Jumeriah and

As can be seen above, we paid special attention to making sure that their logos have equal prominence in the print area. Along with making sure that the
numbering protocol was adhered to, we also pre-charged the lithium battery in advance, this was a significant added on service that added a bulk of work to
our back end process but made a significant impact on the front end. It essentially means the MP3 players can be picked up straight away without the
requirement to charge via a USB port or having to purchase a battery.
