We reviewed the ENC-003 encrypted external hard drive in
yesterday’s blog and today we will be reviewing the ENC-004 encrypted external hard drive.
These are 2 of the exceptional offerings that have been added to our Encrypted USB offerings in the last month. To preview the rest of the branded
encrypted USB drives in our catalogue of encrypted USBs, please click the link highlighted in the next paragraph below.
In many parts, the ENC-004 encrypted external hard drive is very similar to the ENC-003 encrypted external hard drive reviewed yesterday. Whilst not
looking to repeat some of the elements mentioned yesterday, in order to properly review the ENC-004 some of those elements will be repeated in this blog.
Along with the obvious AES256bit hardware encryption that is the common denominator across all our encrypted USB products, including the ENC-004. The casing for
the ENC-004 is immaculately cast through CNC and with 100% aluminium. The ENC-004 is available in Blue, Silver, Black and Red. At 127x77x16mm, the casing size of the ENC-004 is just
slightly larger than the ENC-003. The ENC-004 weighs 0.2KG and like ENC-003, allows for thethinnest hard drive at 95mm. The available hard drive sizes available for the ENC-004 are 500GB, ITB and 2TB.
Now let us look at some images of the ENC-004 encrypted hard drive:
Furthermore, like the ENC-003, the ENC-004 comes with USB3.0 data speed: at read 80-100MB/s and write 65-85MB/s.
The aim of this blog is not to repeat the many aspects discussed in yesterday’s article but to highlight and showcase the technical and marketing leverage
the ENC-004 encrypted external hard drive provides.
The defining differing factor between the ENC-003 and ENC-004 is the method of producing the casing as it is slightly more expensive to produce aluminum
casing through CNC.
