This is one of the most common questions we get asked - can any power bank charge IPADs or tablets in general?
Power banks are becoming the rage but marketers need to make sure they're acquiring the very best product level to match their marketing requirements and
of course, the marketing budget for the project or task.
The entry level branded power banks are enclosed with 1800mAH to 2600MAH polymer li-ion batteries. This is slightly more juice or
power than the polymer battery found in the standard smartphones. This entry level battery - with our 6 connectors - will charge 99% of smartphones as they
have an output of 800maH to 1A. Being the entry level, this is our most popular range of custom printed power banks and it is the cheaper option.
The most critical specification that determines what should be checked in your power bank against what devices it can be used against are theAMP output. A 1800mah to 2600mah promotional power bank will most likely have 700mah - 1A output. This is the suitable output for charging smartphones. Some entry level power bank images can be seen below:-
For charging IPADS and other tablets
, we can still use a 1A output with a higher (at least 4400mah) power battery core. The only drawback is the 1A output will produce a slow charging appliance. Images of such examples (1A output with high battery core) can be seen below:-
For our range of personalised power banks that "effectively and quickly charges IPADS, Samsung Note and other forms of tablets, we really need to be
looking at a 2A output branded power bank device combined with a higher battery core. This will ensure that the tablets are charged
quicker and will be more of an important premium to your target market than a slow charging power bank. The power bank housings that we carry of similar
spec as of 1st July, 2014 can be seen below.
All these (from 1800 - 10000mAH) are outstandingly effective promotional products. The task is to obtain the relevant specification to suit your marketing requirements. You can peruse our
