This was an exciting new commission by AXA insurance and chartered institute of Insurance (CII).

We believe the choice to USBEXTRA was an obvious one based on our attention to detail and our track record in working with countless other FTSE 100 companies. The idea for the project came about because AXA Insurance was sponsoring a major CII conference. The idea is not new as sponsorship marketing is a key sector of the marketing field.

The USBEXTRA personalised USB stick is a perfect tool for sponsorship marketing. One of the issues that arise with sponsorship marketing is the logo placement of the prominent brands and the strict adherence to the branding guidelines agreed to by the 2 institutions.

With printing of sponsorship marketing tools, most of the time there are 2 or 3 separate logos and the logos come with a strict guideline in terms of placement and to ensure equal exposure for both brands.

This means the decision making process is more textured than when dealing with just 1 company. Each digital draft design or mock-up that was made had to be presented to both companies and presented with dimensions of how large each logo is. The 2 camps will then review the draft design and then come back with possible amendments they would like for us to make.

The final decision was made to use the USBEXTRA FDR-051 twister USB drive and the mock-up and print sample images can be seen below:-

Going the extra mile :- The decision to make this order was a last minute decision and we had to deliver 1000units in 7 days. We’re proud to be able to say that we delivered the order at 7pm to the CII office the day before the event.

The order was finished at 3pm and we hand delivered the order from our Northern base to central London on the same day. This allowed the organisers and marketing team to have access to the AXA/CII branded USB flash drive at 7am on the day of the event.
